Heute berichtete auch die LA Times über Wassons Museumsprojekt
UCLA meteorite collection finally reaches the public (http://www.latimes.com/science/la-sci-meteorite-museum-20140111,0,7358495.story?track=rss&utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+latimes%2Fnews%2Fscience+%28L.A.+Times+-+Science%29)
"Finally, it looks like a proper museum," he said Thursday as he surveyed the modest display space. "I'm very pleased.[...]
Wasson thinks it would take most visitors three or four visits to fully absorb the meteorite story he and Rubin are trying to convey. (Luckily, admission is free.) [...]
"The core mission of a museum is rooted in education," said Blanton, the group's director of strategic communications. "They obviously have that.""

In memoriam J.T. Wasson:
J.T. Wasson (1974) Meteorites - Classification and Properties (Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg New York 1974, 316 pages).
