Am 1. April ist Roy S. Clarke, Jr. im Alter von 91 Jahren verstorben. :traurig:

Oje! Das macht mich richtig traurig.
Habe noch persönliche Erinnerungen an Roy, der mich mit offenen Armen durch die Schubladensammlung des Smithonian Institute in Washington geführt hatte. Im August 1991 war das. Der Brief- und Fax-Kontakt hielt noch ungefähr ein oder zwei weitere Jahre. Ungefähr 1 kg Casas Grandes hatte er mir damals im Tausch überlassen. Das Filetstück von der Casas Grandes-Teilscheibe mit jetzt noch 353g ist noch heute bei mir.
