Hallo Michael,
der Stein sieht sehr merkwürdig aus, überhaupt nicht nach Meteorit.
Aber Garry verkauft eigendlich keinen Schrott. Frag ihn doch mal, wer festgestellt hat, dass es sich um einen Achondriten handelt. Der Stein müsste sich ja in der Untersuchung befinden, wenn er noch keine Eintragung im Metbull hat, aber schon festgestellt wurde, dass es ein Meteorit ist.
Bin gespannt, was dabei heraus kommt.

"Item for auction is a 0.46g slice of the new ungrouped achondrite meteorite that was recently found in North West Africa. Dr Tony Irving is conducting the analysis, with possible outsourcing for oxygen isotope data, before submission for classification with the Meteoritical Society. The external rind of the stone was weather worn with no fusion crust, with some deep cavities / depressions in the surface (some of these create ‘vugs’ or voids in cut slices). The light colored matrix is punctuated with many translucent green inclusions. This very intriguing new find of 2020 will certainly find its way into laboratories and private collections. This specimen comes in a quality labeled display case for protection and years of viewing pleasure, along with a Big Kahuna Meteorites Certificate of Authenticity."

Der grüne Einschluss in dem 1.19 gr Exemplar könnte Klinopyroxen sein!

Normalerweise wartet jeder Händler, bis das Ergebnis veröffentlicht wird.
