Ihr habt es gestern vermutlich schon gelesen, aber weil das Thema einen Thread verdient hat:

"In fact, there seems to be a 'goldilocks' class of meteorite, the so-called CM2 meteorites, where conditions are just right to make more of these molecules," adds Callahan.

Detecting DNA Building Blocks From Space
Take a step by step tour of how NASA researchers hunted for nucleobases, the building blocks of DNA, in meteorites. This technique helped them conclude that nucleobases might have been made on meteorites in space and then delivered to a primitive Earth. Seen in the video is Michael P. Callahan, a research physical scientist in the Astrobiology Analytical Laboratory at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center.
*Note- For this demo, the meteorites were not in the "clean room" conditions researchers normally use to avoid Earthly contamination!!
