This movie shows the positions of the 900,000 luminous galaxies used in these studies. Each green dot represents one galaxy. The image covers a redshift range from 0.25 to 0.75, reaching to six billion years ago. The rotation of the image provides a view that shows what the distribution would look like from all sides. Hallo Martin,
ich habe vor ein paar Wochen mal eine Doku gesehen, in der es auch um das Universum ging.

Das hat mich damals wirklich fasziniert, vor allem die 3D Karte ab Minute: 4:26min.
Seither habe ich ein 2D Bild davon als Hintergrundbild auf meinem Computer und es ist für mich, das bisher schönste Bild, das ich je als Hintergrund hatte.
Erinnert es einen doch jeden Tag daran, wie unbedeutend manche Problem sind, die man hier und da mal hat.
Jeder Punkt eine Galaxie, jede Galaxie besteht wiederrum aus unzählig vielen Sonnensystemen und diese wiederum enthalten Planeten, eigentlich nicht mehr vorstellbar, aber eben unglaublich faszinierend ....
In diesem Sinne :hut: David
