This film describes the efforts of scientists to determine the composition of the moon and how it affects the solar system, what meteors are made from and how craters are formed. The debate here, between geologists Jack Green, who advocated vulcanism, and Eugene M. Shoemaker, who advocated meteorite collision, is over what had caused the Copernicus carter.
