John Ball describes in 7 chapters the General, Petrographical, and Chemical Characters of the Stones. The Classification, Origin and the possibilities of finding further Meteorites in Egypt. The 3 plates are: A map showing the Locality where the Stones fell. II: The largest Stone collected from the Fall. (Natural size) III: Figures of the Stone collected by Mr. Brigstock, showing its External and Internal Structure. In the original brown printed thin card board. The black linen spine-protection has mostly disappeared. A little fraying along the edges, 1" tear to the lower edge. Age toning to the first and last pages. The text area is clean without inscriptions or markings.
