Danke Herbert! Das zeigt in der Tat eine sehr belebte Vergangenheit. Mir fehlt jedoch irgendwie die Legende oder bin ich nur zu blöd um diese zu finden?

Die Legende habe ich auch schon vermisst. Ein wenig steht aber in der Bildunterschrift: "Purple colors in the north and light blue represent terrains modified by the Veneneia and Rheasilvia impacts, respectively. Light purples and dark blue colors below the equator represent the interior of the Rheasilvia and Veneneia basins. Greens and yellows represent relatively young landslides or other downhill movement and crater impact materials, respectively."

Beim Betrachten der Bilder muss man sich erst einmal darüber im klaren werden, dass man ja auf einen ASTEROIDEN schaut und nicht auf einen MOND!
